Shipping & Returns
Shipping
Domestic (U.S.)
We offer a flat rate of $7.99 standard shipping for all U.S. orders.
Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days of purchase.
International
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight.
Shipping times are estimates only and do not include time spent in customs processing. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for carrier delays.
Carrier and Delivery Responsibility
Once a package leaves our facility, it is in the care of the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for:
- Packages lost, damaged, or stolen after delivery, including those left outside by the carrier
- Packages delivered to bungalow colonies, gated communities, or other restricted-access locations where the carrier cannot complete standard delivery
- Delays caused by the carrier, weather, or customs
For lost or damaged packages, please contact the carrier directly to open a claim. We are happy to assist with documentation if needed.
However, the halachic kashrus and accurate representation of every scroll we sell remain our responsibility, and we stand behind every product we ship.
International Orders: Duties and Customs
Duties and customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient. This does not apply to orders within the United States.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by the destination country are charged to the recipient upon arrival of the parcel. These charges vary by country and are outside our control. We are unable to predict or quote these charges before purchase.
We recommend contacting your local customs office before placing an international order so you are not surprised by additional charges.
If an international order is returned to us because duties or customs charges were refused or unpaid, we will refund the order less original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee, provided the scroll is returned to us sealed and unused.
Our Scrolls and Halachic Reliability
Every mezuzah scroll we sell is hand-written by certified sofrim and inspected for halachic compliance before shipment.
Each mezuzah comes with a unique QR code. Scanning it reveals:
- The scroll's certification details
- The sofer's information
- An image record of the scroll itself
This provides full transparency and a verifiable record that your mezuzah is kosher and halachically accurate.
If your rav or a sofer wishes to inspect the scroll, that is encouraged. If a legitimate halachic concern is identified, please contact us at info@kmezuzah.com and we will assist appropriately, including inspection, replacement, repair, or refund as the situation warrants.
Returns and Exchanges
Mezuzah scrolls are sacred religious articles. Once a scroll has been delivered to you, it cannot be resold to another customer. For this reason, all sales of mezuzah scrolls are final.
Mezuzah cases are sold only as part of a scroll bundle, not standalone. Bundles are treated as a single religious article and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Exceptions to this policy:
- Halachic concerns: If your rav or sofer identifies a halachic issue with your scroll, please contact us. See the section above for our process.
- Damage in transit: If your mezuzah arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will replace or repair the item.
- Wrong item shipped: If you receive a different item than ordered, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
